Many think of dinner candles as the classical looking straight sided candles seen on the dinner table in period dramas. This is quite correct but in modern times dinner tables and dining rooms are dressed with a variety of candle styles and this is something you can do quite easily yourself. The main thing to remember is only use unscented candles, the perfume of fragrant candles does not lend itself to a situation where food is being consumed.
